This whole piece is not only inspired by LIFE...but by the dope ass song, "Homie", by Phoebe Ryan. I'm obsessed at the moment...so lucky you!

Have you ever felt like you wear those gloves with blades that Edward Scissorhands had? Furthermore, did the resulting feeling make you feel helpless? You'd have EVERY REASON TO FEEL LIKE THAT. Imagine being Johnny Depp;  the beautiful version from 1990. Loving someone so much but scared because she can only feel pain when he touches her. Despite his good intentions, he can only end up hurting her. 

Wah wah, right? No. How AMAZINGLY sad. Now take a moment for yourself.

Try and snap out of the pity party.  WE have an advantage of symbolically taking the Scissorhands off if we get the correct tools. We must live and believe them from a grounding of truth. 

I've learned this. Quite recently. - See what I did there? I learned this QUITE RECENTLY but have known a lifetime that I do technically have all the tools I need to survive. I'm also always the last to the party, so it's taken me awhile. I'm one of the lucky ones, so why not flex those muscles? A workout will only make you feel good about yourself, sweat out the toxins, and make you want to have sex.

I'M GONNA SHOW YOU CRAZY

I've been in creative hibernation for almost a month now. Sometimes, life happens. I've never been one to create for the sake of creating. That's when work becomes stale and it's obvious not only to the audience but to myself. To quote my character "Chad", I only want to put something out there if it's inspired.

But, yet, I've been in inspiration overload. I am finding places, people, memories, thoughts, events, music, etc.. that have been feeding me with so much inspiration. I had to sit and gather my thoughts before I went forward to release anything. Otherwise, I would be releasing a word vomit frenzy of content. 

This PRELUDE is an introduction of what's to come. It's a peak inside my creative mind for the past month or so. 

It's funny to look back one year ago and see what kind of content I was releasing. I was saturated in the "selfie culture".  Explaining my work down to the smallest detail became the norm. I feel more playful, more colorful, and a lack of responsibility in what I release. It's fun to not take myself so seriously. I tell it for everyone! 

I am much more than the music video montages I create. I live beyond the self-referential characters I dive into. Things are about to get even crazier, but not in a volatile way. I prefer to this of this as a controlled and spiritual mania. Thanks for riding this with me. I'm excited for what is brewing and what's to come!

The last few weeks of my life have been quite a wonderful series of fated events. I don't have much to say otherwise. I

have had a lot of FUN, and that's different for me to say. Usually, I'm dealing with some kind of crisis...like one after another...but these past few weeks have been nothing less than magical.

ADAM: Part One

The concept behind this piece is quite simple: the concept is MYSELF. Do any of you know who I am, what I believe in and stand for? How much of what you see is reality and how much of it is fantasy? I’ll never answer those questions for you. Art is meant to be open to interpretation, and I’d hate to fill in all the ugly holes with an explanation. 



As Lady Gaga says: “The lie of it all is more truthful because I invented it.” I, too, like to live in a place that’s halfway between reality and fantasy. Some realities are too desolate, hence the reason I need to be immersed in creative arts. 

This is only the beginning of me pulling back the veil ever so slightly and carefully. Please do not reach too much into what you see in the following video. That will defeat the purpose of the experience I want you to go through. YOU ALSO MISS THE WHOLE JOKE...SO DON'T GET ALL HEADY ON ME, lovers. ;-)

DUBSMASH GOES WILD: Part One

Some background: after failing to hit the iOS app store twice, DUBSMASH finally launched in Germany on November 19, 2014. Flash forward to present day where there are 50,000,000+ "Dubbers" across 192 countries. 

Who knew that DUBSMASH would challenge and possibly conquer the SELFIE? That's where we are currently at.

My friend Justin McGarry and I are fans of the app. Justin is quite good and he was my inspiration behind creating this piece of work. It's quite simple and funny. The video highlights favorite DUBSMASH audio and video that we have collectively created. 

No hidden meanings behind this video. Just sit back, relax and have a fun time listening to some funny and incredibly accurate lip syncing.
